Welcome 2011

For New Year's Eve this year, we went over to some friends' house to celebrate. We took all of Owen's bedtime stuff with us, assuming he and Drew would end up crashing on the couch in the basement, but that just didn't happen. Those 2 silly boys ended up staying up until past midnight! I was shocked! As soon as the ball dropped, we headed home to get the little man to bed, because though he wouldn't admit it, he was exhausted!!

On New Year's Day, we had the Pughs over for the morning to hang out and to exchange Christmas gifts with the kids. Even though we live right next door, we have not been able to hang out with them much at all in the last few weeks because of all of the holiday craziness, so it was nice to spend some time just hanging out and catching up.

We ended New Year's Day watching the Pens play in the Winter Classic. Though it didn't end as we had hoped (the Pens lost), it was fun to watch. Owen got to watch the first period with his Daddy. They definitely share that passion for hockey, that is for sure!
