Happy Birthday America!!!

The 4th of July was so much fun this year! We got to spend almost the entire week with the whole Voelp clan, which doesn't happen often enough! We had such a blast with everyone and the week was just perfect! The actual 4th, all of the kids participated in the annual "bike" parade. A few weeks before the 4th, our neighbor gave Owen their old John Deere tractor and right away, Randy declared that Owen would ride it in the parade this year! He was the cutest little John Deere farmer and so proud of himself as he rode around the circle! One night while we were all together, Grammy and Pappers and a sweet babysitter from up at the lake kept the kiddos and all of the adults went out for wings and some drinks. It was so nice to have an evening out together to hang out since we don't all get to see each other much anymore! The guys played golf almost every day that week and on the last day that we were all together, the girls decided to go on a "golf outing" of our own. We left the kids behind with the guys (well, all except Anderson since I am nursing and didn't feel like pumping) and headed out for a fun shopping trip on the boardwalk and a stop at a wine shop for Sangria Slushies! Those really hit the spot and were just what we all needed to wrap up our vacation together ;) I have to say that we experienced some of the most beautiful sunsets ever at Lake Erie during that week! Each night, the sky was just unbelievable, but of course, the camera just can't capture it like being there in person! Here are a bunch of pictures from the week...
